It was time, she could feel it in the wind, sense it with each touch her paw made to the ground. But time for what? What was it time for? Something special, Idrial would never have dreampt of doing if she was back home, back home with them. Errggh, no, let's not think about them anymore, not again – let's not look back to the past. No. To the future, and to what it was time for; it was now time for Idrial to get a life. To make a big move in her simplicity, to complexity, as strange as it sounded. Now that she had escaped from them nothing was impossible anymore! Nothing. Just the sky; that was the limits, unless she sprouted wings one day, but that was highly unlikely.
The feminine husky sighed with somewhat content, her water-blue eyes held a look of sorrow and pain, but that was from the past and she had to look forward to the future now. She couldn't suffer any longer, yes, it was time to breakaway, forget her troubles and start a pack. As big as step as it seemed, Idrial was sure she would soar. No, she wasn't an ignorant, arrogant, self-centered bitch, she simply held memories of being told how determined, fierce, focused and loyal she was. The only compliments she could remember where to do with her personality and physical traits, but then again.. What did it matter?
The only thing that mattered to her now was getting her life on track, and this was the perfect place and opportunity to do so.
She found herself running, running long and hard as she usually did – never mind her beauty! Idrial packed plenty of endurance and stamina too, due to her well-muscled bodice and fair build. But never mind, that was a different story. Her stride long, pace quick, it did not take long for the determined female to reach her destination, or target. Which was an abandoned building, it resembled a factory and Idrial stopped abruptly to catch her breath. It was soon regained and Idrial took some time in studying the old abandoned factory, her water-blue eyes sparkled with new hope, pretty features lit up with a warm smile.
This is it. She thought to herself, eyes still sparkling away, accompanied with a warm smile that could enchant even the coldest of hearts. Yes, it was it – her new life, and she would make sure of it. The young, Alaskan husky female wasted no time with entering the building, her bodice dove straight at the barbed fence, twisting as it did so. With a bit of turning and struggling, Idrial managed to wriggle through the bottom of the fence and onto the other side. That could take a bit of getting used to. She thought again, a quiet giggle escaping her throat when the thought crossed her mind – better to laugh about it than cry. She had to set a good example after all.
Turning toward the large entrance of the building, Idiral progressed forward. Her muzzle gave the huge door a fierce shove, and in return it opened wide – to her pleasure. As she stepped further into the building, the main entrance was split into several corridors with smaller rooms leading off them and right at the end of the very last corridor, a giant-sized room filled with rusty old machines lay. It was a nice building overall, it certainly had potential for a pack, so really Idrial was lucky having found it at all. Grinning, Idrial went to work marking her territory.
This old building was now the home for The Power Station pack, with this ambitious young Alaskan husky female in charge. Oh what a grand start to her new life she had made.

I'll get around to that now. It may take a while figuring out what is going to be what though, and where everything is going to go.

Wandering in upon the terra, Zeek's intentions were unknown even to himself. Zeek always wanted to be in charge of his own life, and for this reason, pack life was hard on him. He did not believe in challenging for alphaship, merely because it was very hard to connect with your pack if you came by force. This, at least, was how the street dog called Zeek saw things. Yes, Zeek had long since promised himself that the only way he'd lead a pack was if he fell in love with an Alphess, and she with him, or he claimed it upon his arrival. This city was new in his travels, and it was apparently a new haven for all canines. Unfortunately for himself, all packlands were previously claimed, yet the curiousity in him was not yet satisfied. Minus well get a look at his surroundings, starting with the packs. And hey, if he found one that suited his free lifestyle, he might even join.
Zeek found his sleek, black body moving at a quicker pace as his mysterious brown orbs fell upon a tremendously large factory. The old building held a look of faded importance that intrigued the brute, and of course, if it intrigued Zeek, Zeek had to see it. Soon, he was in a steady jog, and then he could not contain himself any longer. Long, powerful limbs carried him high and proud as he ran towards the building. Everything around him sped past like an action scene, and he was trapped in the slow motion part. With every upward motion, his fur would stick to his body, and every time his pads touched the grass, it would fly up in awkward directions. Despite his promise to never join a pack unless he could lead it or had a family, Zeek just felt as though he belonged here.
Arriving at the place known as the Power Station Pack, he stood in wonder. Admiring the finely structured place that over the years had faded into something nobody bothered looking twice at. Zeek must have sat there, staring for a good few minutes before he remembered his mission and headed deeper into the place that felt more like a dream than reality. Without looking where he was going, he felt his muzzle bump lightly into an object. Looking up, he found himself seperated from heaven by a barbwire fence. He looked around frantically, upset that he might not have a chance to further view this wonderous place. However, as he looked to his right, he found his vision trapped by another figure. A husky, or so it seemed. And a gorgeous one at that. The plusses of joining this pack were adding up and as her sleek body pushed through the fence and she emerged into the building, Zeek followed the trail she'd left behind and with a slight struggle, he was able to maneuver his way through the first obstacle. The rest was rather easy, and once he found himself behind the female, he cleared his throat to make himself known.
"Uh, hello there. I'm Zeek. I suppose this magical place belongs to you, ma'am?"
Yes, even some street dogs had manners. Most males who'd grown up like Zeek were arrogant jerks who thought they ruled the world. However, Zeek was more of a thinker and he had long since learned that the only thing you could ever rule was yourself. His maw curled to a charming smile and his white teeth shone in the dark power station. A friendly gesture to the female and to show he meant no harm, he bowed his head slightly to the Alphess, awaiting her response.

Brady had been following Zeek for some time, although the massively furred beast knew not why. Perhaps simply because he had no other place to go, and the black and tan brute seemed to know where he was going. Letting out a sigh, Brady paused before the station that stood before him, curious eyes watching as Zeek disappeared through a broken entrance. Perhaps a packland, the great dog mused out loud, shaking his layered coat gently. It was incrediably warm inside beneath the sun, and he wished that he could just unzip it and walk away with a short thin pelt like many of the street dogs seemed to have.
Brady was an unusual breed to find loose on the streets, and most presumed him to be the unfortunate result of a cross between two breeds, however no he was a purebred Tibetan Kyiapso, and his reasons for ending up a stray were most unfortunate, and something that he rarely if ever spoke of. As far as the kindly giant was concerned, his life was now his life and the past didn't matter, or didn't need to matter, anymore.
Letting a huff of warm air exhale from his maw and rise into the atmosphere, he crossed the concrete slabbed ground, heavy paws beating repeatedly against the warm surface, then broke into a lope, striding like a giant furball rapidly towards the entrance. It was a little small for a dog of his size, however when compressed, his huge fleece seemed to shrink in against his body, the fur disappearing until he struggled out the other side, and then fluffed out once more.
Gazing around the cool insides of the building he was now in, Brady caught sight of the dog he had followed here, and another dog further down, and caught snippets of what the brute said. So this is a packland, he said thoughtfully in his mind. Brady did not know this area, in fact did not know this town and thus didn't know which packs were good versus bad, and all that jabber, however, he determined under his breath, There's only one way to find out.
Moving smoothly towards the duo, his kissers parted to let loose an alerting bark, one which echoed after he had released it, and drawing to a halt nearby, he drawled smoothly, Evening fae, brute, nodding to each in turn for naturally his twitching nares had already informed him of the gender of each of the two dogs.
Eyes landed on the brute, who seemed to be making puppy eyes at the fae, and Brady smiled inwardly. She was pretty, certainly, though it seemed from what he had overheard that the brute did not know her as of yet. Boys will be boys, was his first thought about this, whereupon he continued with his speech, I seek to speak with the leader of these packlands, if that may be possible.
Brown orbs looked down kindly upon the other two canines as he awaited a response.
